Fair questions
When does the app launch?
OtherHalf launches fall 2026, on iOS and Android. The email list gets exactly one launch note, and first access if you want it.
Is this scientifically validated?
No, and we don't claim it is. OtherHalf is built on a philosophical lens: Plato, the Taoists, Jung. Not a peer-reviewed instrument. The assessment is a portrait, not a diagnosis. We think saying that plainly is more honest than the science theater most dating apps perform.
What will it cost?
Matching and messaging are free. Extras are one-time purchases you keep forever. There are no subscriptions and never will be.
What happens to my email?
It goes on the launch list and nowhere else. One note when the app opens, and deletion on request. To be exact: our signup form is run by Formspark, so the list is stored with them. We never sell it and never share it for anyone else's marketing.
Does the site's assessment connect to the app?
Not automatically. Your portrait here is yours. The app runs its own assessment when you create an account, so your profile starts fresh and private.
